Welcome to this "Online Facilitator Training" with COSTI. This two week, four hour course is designed to provide COSTI facilitators with the opportunity to address common barriers, set goals and gather resources.  We hope you enjoy the course.

COSTI Staff Online Facilitation Skills

Orientation to E-facilitation Skills Course.  This course will provide an introduction to E-Facilitation Skills.

Course Overview:

  • The role of an e-facilitator
  • You will have information about adult learning and learning style
  • Develop tools for motivating online students and building community
  • Develop tools for solving problems in an online class setting

Facilitator Training

The goal of this course is to provide you with some structured time to reflect on your online facilitation experiences.  You will create some personal learning goals, gain access to new resources, learn from others and help your peers by sharing the things you’ve learned along the way.  The focus of this course will be engaging students and addressing challenges facilitators face in building an online community.
